How do I get started?
To schedule your first appointment call (479) 442-8900. You can go to the client portal to see what days/times are currently available:
The client portal is a secure and convenient way you can schedule future appointments, see billing statements, send Sam secure text messages, and fill out forms.
Can I use my insurance?
Sam is currently a provider for these insurance plans:
- BlueCross and BlueShield
If you plan to use insurance, please give us your insurance information so we can verify your benefits and inform you of your fees. If your insurance plan is not listed above, you can be provided with a monthly statement to submit to your insurance to obtain "out-of-network" reimbursement. We accept cash, check or credit/debit cards. Payment is due before each session.
Can I fill out forms before the first appointment?
Yes! After you schedule your first appointment, you will be emailed a link to the client portal. The intake forms must be completed at least 24 hrs before your first session.
One-on-One counseling is where most people start the process towards overcoming mental health issues. For most people going to counseling is the last place they want to be, but individual counseling allows you to tell the whole story and be heard. Its a good thing to talk to family and friends, but there are lots of reasons we don't tell them ALL the details. In counseling you can work with all the pieces with a professional and start to gain clarity and relief!
One-on-One counseling allows for you and Sam to gain an understanding of the issues. With that understanding, a treatment plan uniquely tailored to you is developed together for reaching your goals.
Mental health issues can be confusing to the people that care about us. People who care about us hate to see us suffer, and, unfortunately, don't always know how to make us feel better.
Couples counseling offers the chance to educate your significant other or family members about the challenges in your life and how the relationship can grow stronger between the both of you.
This allows your partner and/or family to become an even better support system during your journey to wellness.
