Live Through This Project

Live Through This (www.livethroughthis.org) offers a collection of testimonies from people that survived suicide. The project helps strip away the stigma of mental health issues and shows that depression can affect people of all looks and backgrounds. This website shows that thriving with depression is possible. 


The Trevor Project

The Trevor Project (www.thetrevorproject.org) is one of the most comprehensive support sites for the LGBTQA community. They offer 24-hr judgement free support with trained counselors. Additionally, The Trevor Project provides volunteering and training opportunities.

Dr. Bessel van der Kolk, The Trauma Recovery Center

Dr. Bessel van der Kolk is one of the premier researchers about Posttraumatic Stress Disorder. One of his research topics is looking at the benefits of Yoga for people with PTSD.
